The Manara Foundation for Development and Training in Menoufia Governorate concluded its “Step” training program. This program focuses on empowering women and youth with basic entrepreneurial skills. The training aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to successfully manage a small business and evaluate its feasibility. Beneficiaries must have at least one year of prior experience in business or project management.
The program stems from the foundation’s vision, which is to be a true starting point for anyone who dreams of a successful, income-generating project. The program offered a training course titled “How to Develop Your Project?”, covering important practical topics, including:
- Steps to Developing an Existing Project
- Basics of Feasibility Studies and Pricing
- Successful Marketing Strategies
The program offered a unique opportunity for committed participants to attend and succeed. A specialized committee of businessmen discussed a number of proposed projects with the aim of providing practical support for the development of existing projects. The winning beneficiaries were granted in-kind support to further develop their projects. Manara Foundation believes that training doesn’t stop at knowledge, but rather, it begins with change. That’s why each phase concludes with genuine support, whether through assessment, mentoring, or providing opportunities. Because every story needs a beginning, Manara is the beginning that “illuminates your story.”
